Aloo Bajji/Potato Bajji

 Allo Bajji is an Indian street snack for teatime that can also be served with tomato checkup and green chutney. Potato Baji is crispy and soft. 

This is the perfect snack for the Rainfly season.


Ingredients

  1. Allo -1 (Big size)
  2. Besan-1cup (Gram flour& Chenagapandi)
  3. salt- (small tablespoon)
  4. Red chili powder (small tablespoon)
  5. Oil for deep fry
  6. Red flour-1tablespoon
  7. Ajwain 1/2 tablespoon
  8. Ginger and garlic paste (optional) 1/2 1/2 tablespoon
  9. Turmeric- pinch 
* Wash the Pototo properly and peel the skin Cut them into slices put them in a bowl of water and keep aside.


Batter PREPARATION 

*Take a big bowl and add the rice and Besan flour Mix it well, and add red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, ajwain Ginger, and garlic paste.


*Make a smooth batter while adding water add 1/2 ratio water.


*Turn On the stove take a kadai and add oil heat it 



* Once the oil gets heated take the batter add a few slices of potato to the batter and make sure the potatoes are covered in the batter.

*Pick each potato slice remove the excess batter and drop them into the batter.


*Fry them on both sides till they are golden in color and crispy.


*Drain them and put tissue paper to remove excess oil.
 
*Transfer the Baji to the serving bowl. can sever chopper onions.

* Serve with Hot TEA.
