Ragi Laddu

 Ragi Laddu Today I'm sharing a Very popular and one of my favorite Laddu recipes it's very healthy and tasty. Laddu is rich in iron and calcium fiber and has several health benefits.

Ragi Flour is gluten-free whole grain, rich in protein vitamins, and minerals, it helps to support the digestive system and blood glucose spikes, and it also maintains healthy skin benefits.  

Jaggery

In India for a long time, people have been using jaggery as a home remedy for many health issues.

India has trusted traditional medicines; it recommends several herbal values using jaggery to bring relief from various diseases.

This Recipe combination of Ragi and Jaggery is perfect for kids, especially new moms, you can give it as a healthy snack for kid's boxes.



Ingredient's

  • Ragi Flour (250gm)
  • Jaggery-(100gm)
  • Peanut's-50gms
  • Badam-10
  • Sesame seeds-3Tablespoons (Nuvvulu)
  • Ghee-5Tablespoons
  • Kaju (Cashews')-10
  • Walents, watermelon seeds (optional)
*Heat the pan Dry roast Peanuts and Badam sesame seeds for 5 minutes to change color and get crispy.


*In the same pans fry the Ragi or Ragi flour fry them for 10 minutes until gets aroma released from the flour for 10 minutes.



*One ragi gets completely cool take a mixer jar and grand its soft flour.

 *Fry the ragi flour for 2 minutes in the same pan and keep aside.




*Light crushes the dry fruits Badam and Kaju (Cashews) 

* Now add Jaggery powder into the pan and add 50ml of normal water mix them well.

* Once Jaggery gets a thick paste (if you want to filter you can it's based on Jaggery)

* Now add Ragi into the jaggery and mix it well, also add dry fruits 

*Add the melted ghee to the mixture and mix it continually for 3 minutes

*Shape the mixture into small round laddus and store for 15 days in an airtight container.
