Steamed veggies are very healthy and tasty and easy to cook and can be given to Months babies' elders.
Ingredients
- Broccoli-1Cup
- Carrot-1
- Curry leaves-10
- Kaju-10 (Cashew nuts)
- Salt-half tablespoon
- Red Chili Powder-half tablespoon (Optional)
- Black pepper powder-1/4 tablespoon
- Onion Small (1)
- Green Chilles-2
- Ghee-1Tablespoon
- If you have time soak the Broccoli in rock salt water for 15 minutes
- Chop them into small pieces, such as carrot, onion, and green mirchi.
Let's Boil the veggies
- In a pan insert or steam basket or Microwave.
- Fill a medium pan with around 3Inches of water and bring the boil
- add the veggies cover and cook until the tender duration is 7 minutes
- In the Microwave put the veggies in a bowl and add 30ml of water.
- Let it cook for a set timer for 5 minutes.
- After Bolling vegetables just keep aside.
- Heat a pan and add a tablespoon of ghee to shallow fry the veggies.
- Add curry leaves and Kaju (Cashew nuts) and fry them on a low-medium flame.
- Wait until Kaju changes golden color.
- Now add Chopped Onions and Green Chilies into the pan and fry them for Until turns golden in color.
- Now add Boiled Broccoli and carrot.
- Fry them for 5 minutes on a medium flame.
- Add Red chili powder and Black pepper Salt fry the slices for Two more Minutes on each side till brown and crisp
- Then add in the shallow-fried and give it a toss. and transfer into a serving bowl.
