TOMATO PICKLE /TOMATO PAACHADI

 This is a delicious 🍅TOMATO PICKLE spicy and Tangy it is tasty and easy to make.



  

Ingredients

  1. Tomato 1kg (Red)
  2. Oil-10Tablespoon
  3. Salt-2Tablespoon
  4. Red Chilli powder 4Tablespoon
  5. Red dry Chilli-10
  6. Curry leaves-1cup
  7. Jeer 2Tablespoon
  8. Mustard seeds-2Tablespoon
  9. Garlics-1 Gloves 
  10. Methi seeds (Fenugreek seeds)-1Tablespoon
  11. Chikpeas Senagapappu-1 Tablespoon
  12. Minna Pappu (Urad dal) -1Half Tablespoon
  13. Turmeric halfspoon
  14. Chinthapandu(Tamarind)-100 Gms
  15. Hing-1/4 Tablespoon


#Wash the Tomatoes gently and drain them using a cotton cloth to dry them Tomatoes.
#Make sure that tomatoes should be dehydrated without a single drop of water.
#Chop the Tomatoes and make 4 pieces in One tomato.





Let's Jump into the cook
  • Take a pan and dry roast the Mustard and jeera Mustard seeds jeera until the released aroma is cooked with a slow flame keep aside.




  • Now add the same pan of chopped tomatoes into the pan.



  • Cook them for 10 minutes on a medium flame.
  • Once the tomatoes release the liquid is completely cooled.
  • Wash the Tamarind twice to remove all water add it to the pan and cook it together for more than 10 minutes.

  •  Once let's cook Take a big size of Mixer jar and add Tomatoes' and Tamarind.
  • Add the powders in the jar grand it well and make them smooth paste.
  • Now add salt and red mirchi powder again to grind it.


Thalimpu 

  • Turn on the stove and heat the oil.




  •  In a Medium flame Add Mustard seeds and Jeera Minna Pappu (Urad dal) Chikpeas Senagapappu ones they start to splutter.
  • Add coarsely Chopped garlic, and dry mirchi, add Fresh Curry leaves and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add 1/4 of Hing into the pan and mix it well Turn off the stove.


  • Transfer the Thalimpu to the Tomato paste.


  • Mix it well all oil should absorb the Tomato paste.

Instructions 
 
  • Make sure that everything that touches the pickles is completely dry.
  •  If not, the moisture will cause. 
  • The Concentrate can be stored in a Glass jar with a closed lid.
  • Can store for 30days at room temperature. In Refrigerator Can store for 90 days. As soon as you take out the portion needed, immediately close the jar with a lid and put it back in the refrigerator.
  • always use a clean dry spoon to take the pickle.

Serving Ideas Tomato pickle🍅
  • Tomato pickles taste best with Hot ghee and white.
  • This can be served with Curd rice
