  Curd Rice 

Curd rice is a traditional South Indian dish, Simpull, and rice food.

Benefits of Curd: Cooling Effect, Rich Effect, Hydration, Easy to Digest.

Ingredients 

Curd-2cups (Homemade yogurt)

Milk-1/2

Rice-1-cup

Red Dry Mirchi-5

Green Mirchi-5

oil-1tsp

Salt-1tsp

Curry leaves-10

Mustard seed-half spoon.

Kaju-10

Split Chickpeas-half spoon.

Urad dal -half spoon.

Green Grapes(optional)

Paramagnet half cup(optional) 



Let's Cook with me

*Soak and wash the rice if you have the time, it gives a nice Creamy structure.

*Add 1 cup of rice and 3 glasses of water to the pressure cooker.

*You can even use brown rice.1 cup rice 5 glasses of water.

*Add half a spoon of salt as required, Cook directly in the pressure cooker on a medium flame for 4whistles.

*When the pressure is released naturally mash the rice well, keep a side Cook the rice completely.

*Add 1 cup of milk and 2 cups of cooked rice in a fresh cup and mix it well bringing the yogurt rice to consistency.

*if required add half a cup of curd to get a proper creamy consistency, keep aside.

*Take a pan and heat it add one spoonful of oil, half a spoonful of Mustard seeds, and Split Chickpeas spoon, urad dal half-spoon dry red chili curry leaves, Kaju cook on slow flame for 3 mins

* Turn off the stove and mix into the rice bowl.

*Ready to serve*

*Can you use Green Grapes, Paramagnet(optional).

*Must try for kids' lunch boxes and meals, especially in summer.
