Pesalu/Green gram/Moong daal Sprouted Curry
Green Gram is high nutrition and making sprouts very easy at home.
Sprouts are rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals, and most help with weight loss by keeping the yummy full for a longer time. and high in fiber, a nutrient that helps stabilize blood sugar. when your Boady breaks down carbohydrates from food and supports gut health it helps to support your digestive health, support normal blood clotting, sprouts are good for digestion help the immune system, good for the eyes.

Sprouted Mung bean salad, Misal Pav, sprouts curry, Moong dal raita, Moong Dal. Sprouted moong dal.
Let's Make Sprouts
- Wash the Moong dal at least twice with normal water.
- Soak the Moong dal completely immersed in water for 10 to 11 Hours.
- When you take a bite, it feels good to eat.
- This stage, drain the water. (Don't waste this soaked water on plants because few nutrients are there in water it is good for plants to grow)
- Take a wet muslin cloth and sprinkle some normal water.
- place the muslin cloth with the soaked grains in a bowl and cover it lightly with a lid so there is air Circulation.
- when you notice the muslin cloth dry, sprinkle some water on the cloth, so there is continuous moisture in the cloth.
- The process of sprouting will take at least 12 hours based on the grain size.
- Once you notice the grains have sprouted, transfer them to a storage container it is store them in the refrigerator for about a week, and use them as desired.
Let's Make Moong sprouts curry
Ingredients- Green Moong dal -1cup (Pesalu) 100gm
- Tamoto-1
- Oninon-1
- Green Mirchi-2
- Curry leaves-10
- Garlic-4
- Salt-Half tablespoon
- Red Chili Powder-Half tablespoon
- Turmeric powder-Half tablespoon
- Coriander powder-Half tablespoon
- Oil-1Tablespoon
- Jeera-1/4 Spoon
- Coriander leaves
- Chop the Onion and Taomoto pieces green chilies of into small pieces.
Let's cook
- Heat a pan or Pressure cooker and add 1tablespoon of oil.
- Add Jeera let it splutter and add Green Mirchi Onion curry leaves and crushed cloves of garlic.
- Add Turmeric powder and Tomato.
- Once a tomato is cooked, and soft add Moong sprouts into the Cooker and add Half a tablespoon of salt.
- after adding salt mix, it well, and cook the without a cooker lid. for 5 minutes.
- Add red chili powder and coriander powder cook 5 minutes.
- Add 300ml of normal water and mix it well.
- On a medium flame take 3whisles, then turn off the heat and let the pressure drop naturally.
- Transfer the curry to the serving bowl, and Garnish with freshly chopped coriander.
Serve with...
White Rice, Pulka, Jeera Rice.
